Mistletoe is often sold in bundles of Christmas trees. To get your own ball is given a Styrofoam ball with a craft store, glue a ribbon to hang it on the mistletoe, and press the ball than what comes from all sides. Green Styrofoam is probably better that you would be able to see much, if there is such a bald spot a little.
